- URL & Metadata: Destination URLs, custom slugs, custom OpenGraph titles, descriptions, and uploaded preview images.
- Click Telemetry: When visitors click shortened links, our Traffic Shield logs anonymized cryptographic IP hashes (using SHA-256 with dynamic salt), device category (mobile, tablet, desktop), referrer domains, and timestamp. We do NOT store raw IP addresses in permanent link click logs.
2. Traffic Shield & Bot Filtering
Our platform includes automated bot detection (Traffic Shield) to separate automated scrapers, spiders, and crawler requests from genuine human clicks. This filtering ensures your click analytics accurately represent human engagement.
3. Media & Uploaded Images
Uploaded preview images are compressed and stored securely using Google Cloud Storage. Uploaded media is publicly accessible solely for the purpose of serving social preview cards (Open Graph protocol) to platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Telegram.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
We use session tokens stored in secure HTTP-only cookies or client-side storage solely to maintain authenticated user sessions. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or sell your activity to advertising brokers.
5. Data Security
All traffic between your browser and URL9X is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS). Our infrastructure is hosted on Google Cloud Platform, benefiting from world-class enterprise security, automatic patching, and DDoS protection.

Depending on your location, you have rights to access, rectify, or delete the links and account data associated with your profile. You may delete any shortened links at any time directly through your URL9X dashboard.
